The Guilty is about that This taut film begins with two armed men parked on a dimly-lit, quiet street waiting for a woman, and unfolds unpredictably from here. They discuss the risk involved in their task, and the trustworthiness of their female contact, with one man assuring the other that she is reliable. Sin is about that This film opens dramatically with a scene of a woman being flogged by two grown men. We cut to an apartment in the present day in which two men reflect on life. One of them says he experienced a dream in which he was flogged as an adulterous woman. As this short film unfolds the pieces of the narrative begin neatly to fall into place. Biography by IMVBox. Convicted is about that A woman travels across the desert to visit her imprisoned husband, imploring his guards to let her see him and give him food. The guards reluctantly let her in, but tell her she will not be able to visit her husband. They seem more interested in having some company for themselves, in the lonely context of the barren and expansive landscape. The ambiguous ending leads us to ponder the fate of her captive husband. This film successfully contrasts the open desert with the claustrophobic prison and has a subtly haunting appeal.
