Fifty Days of Disquiet is about that Ebrahim Asgari, who studies in France, accidentally gets information about the activities of an anti-government group and comes to Iran to expose them. Th ...e security forces send Ebrahim to France to get more information so that he can return to Iran by buying information from a Frenchman. In the videotape of the group's meeting in France, made by Ibrahim, the officers notice the resemblance of one of the group's members, named Amini, to Ebrahim. Amini is supposed to come to Iran under the pseudonym Tehrani to lead the coup operation.
