I Forgot You This Summer is about that A beautiful woman wearing a Spanish flamenco dress sits at a dining table in her home. She talks into a dictaphone, as if talking to her lost love. The rain falling outside brings back memories of her time spent in Barcelona. As she dances with her laptop in place of her man, her tone swiftly changes from joyous to wistful. This monologue is broken up with a brief dance sequence set to a lilting Spanish guitar. The second act is more upbeat with a different actress passionately performing an emphatic monologue.
