Motherland is about that Professor Snider has presented a theory claiming that turtles will go back to their birthplace after 30 years and his theory is pursued by Amirali. Amirali meets Marleneh, the professor's grandchild, and gets some documents and evidence regarding the theory which were gathered 30 years ago on Qeshm island. He sends the documents to his mother, Mrs. Sharifi, and after ensuring the results of the previous experiment, Mrs.Sharifi decides to send another generation of turtles to the sea; so she goes to Qeshm. Saghi is about that Reza - the scarface - lives his life through such illegal ways as renting banned tapes and distributing drugs. He meets a young addicted man called Farokh. Arezou (Farokh's sister) who concerns about his brother's future, introduces Reza to her family. They have a wealthy family who provide for their life by robbery. They offer Reza to cooperate with them in stealing from a jewelry store. Reza who loves Arezou, accepts their request. They steal the jewelry successfully. After a while, Reza proposes to Arezou and asks her to leave her family and go with him to North of Iran. Arezou accepts. The family think they have taken the jewelry and force Farokh to give them their address. When Arezou's uncle does not find the jewelry there, he suspects Farokh and a struggle comes up between them in which all of them get killed. At last, Reza survives, but he has to begin from scratch, so he has to act as before to earn money for living his life.
