The Unwanted Woman is about that A woman trapped in an unhappy marriage: Sima, must contend with a husband so insensitive that he makes no effort to hide his various sexual indiscretions. He forces her into an even more uncomfortable situation when he asks his wife to pretend she is related to his current girlfriend in order to avoid trouble from a society that punishes unmarried couples for being together in public. Principles is about that Sara has returned from America after finishing her studies in architecture and goes to a company for hiring. The manager of this company is Babak. Babak gets aware of Sara’s engagement being fallen apart and takes her to his office to attract her like all the other girls. But Sara is a different girl and is very serious in preparing a festival from areas of Iran besides a historical site. Babak’s different and repetitive tactics has no effect on her. The hiring of Mehrdad, Sara’s childhood friend causes problems for both of them and somehow leads to Mehrdad getting fired because of Babak’s jealousy. Sara is able to replace the festival’s tent after it catches fire with a fire retardant one but quits immediately because of the fight between Mehrdad and Babak and her hidden feelings toward Babak. The next day when Sara comes to settle her account with the company, Babak does not let her leave and Sara jumps from a balcony and is seriously injured. Four or five years later, Sara and Babak see each other again in a historical building. Babak confesses that he loves Sara but Sara says nothing of her love. While leaving the place, Babak follows Sara’s car... The Hidden Half is about that An official is sent from his home in Tehran to hear the final appeal of a woman sentenced to death, a political prisoner. The official's wife of nearly 20 years, writes him a letter to read when he reaches the hotel; the story of her student days during the revolution of 1978. We see the story in flashbacks as he reads: she leaves her province on scholarship, joins a Communist youth group, avoids arrest, and comes under the sway of a suave older man, Roozbeh Javid, a literary-magazine editor. As she tells her husband about the hidden half of her life, Fereshteh asks that he listen to the woman facing execution, a woman and therefore one of Iran's hidden half.
