Mehdi Fakhimzadeh (مهدی فخيمزاده) is an Iranian actor and director. Born in Tehran in 1942, he first studied medicine, befire leaving to join the army. He then studied French Language and Litrerature from Tehran University. His first serious acting role was in 1973 movie "Topoli" by Reza Mirlouhi. Mehdi Fakhimzadeh has directed two feature films, "Proposal" (1989) and "Spouse" (1994) both of which became the second best movies the year. He was awarded Best Screenplay for "In Haste" in the Tenth Fajr film festival, and received special mentions for the screenplay "Spouse" screenplay and for acting in "The Comrade", at the Twelft Read More.. h Fajr film festival. Additionally, Mehdi Fakhimzadeh has directed, written, and acted in two grand Isamic history television series, "The loneliest commander" and "The land of love". He has also written, directed and acted in the series, "Asleep & Awake", "Silent Scream" and, most recently, "The Building No. 85".
