Persian Catwalk is about that 'Persian Catwalk' explores the relatively unexplored fashion industry in Iran. The filmmaker discusses the history of Iranian fashion, including the trends that occurred over the years, as well as the resistance from the religious government. As a counterpoint, the film also follows Mahdis, a 20 year old Iranian woman with aspirations of becoming a model, a vocation mainly frowned upon in Iran. As we watch Mahdis's progress, we find ourselves rooting for her through her trials and tribulations.
