The Solitude of Wind is about that In 1988, 1 ...84000 Kurds residing at north of Iraq are kidnapped from their villages and cities by the the Iraqi government during a genocide. When Kurdistan is freed, people go in search of their lost ones in the genocide, but they fail to find them. When the Persian Gulf war is over in 1991, a center entitled Ministry of the Lost is established in Kurdistan of Iraq in order to collect information regarding the people who are lost and their families have no news about them.In the same year, Hana is assigned by the United Nations to conduct an investigation regarding the people lost. At the Ministry of the Lost, she encounters lots of unidentified identity cards. Hana tries to go in a sympathy with the fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and children of the people who have been lost, and through this, she finds her miserable destiny. Silence of the Sea is about that Siavash Irani who has been living in Sweden for a long time suddenly loses everything he has and decides to go back to Iran. Destiny drives him to Qeshm; an island in south of Iran. You need a license to go from there to the rest of Iran. Siavash misses his family. He talks to his wife on his phone all the time. He finally finds his old pal, Hossein, in Khoram-Abad and that helps him forget the homesickness. Hossein tells Siavash not to exit the island because of the troubles he might get into but Siavash doesn't listen to him and keeps looking for a way out. Then Siavash meets some people who want to exit Iran. Despite what Siavash says, a guy named Abdo starts his one way trip. So does Siavash. He rents a boat and goes towards Bandar-Abbas but in the middle of the way, the boatman hesitates and takes him back to Qeshm.
