With Open Eyes is about that A worn-out looking soldier on guard duty has flashbacks to his civilian life and begins to feel addled. Angrily, he accuses another soldier of stealing a box of matches from him. Abandoning his post and weapon he chases after the other soldier in a manic state. Their superiors arrive and detain him for abandoning his post, casting him to a prison where his tormenting flashbacks continue. In a hallucinatory state lying in his prison cell, the soldier addresses his mental fragility and issues stemming from childhood.
