Behzad Farahani ( بهزاد فراهانی‎ ) was born on 21 January 1945 and is an Iranian actor and screenwriter. After passing a theater course in France, he began stage acting in 1959. He then started film acting, starring in Motallebi's The Tryst of Rage in 1971. Behzad Farahani began his career as a screenwriter with the same film and he has worked as a performer in radio plays, television series and teleplays.

Tootiya is about that Iraj Ghaderi's domestic drama challenges the roles of men and women in society. Shaghayegh is the executive manager of the 'Independent Women's Cooperative', an organization that is currently trying to fund the construction of a medical complex for local children. The project is in desperate need of money, and so Shaghayegh asks her husband Siavash to look after the house while she works round the clock to raise the necessary funds. When Siavash takes exception to this, resentful of his independent, hard-working wife, the clash of outdated ideals threatens to destroy the very relationship for which they are working so hard to build a future. Sheida is about that Farhad has lost his eyesight due to an injury sustained in battle. As part of his recovery, he is transferred to a temporary hospital, where he encounters young nurse Sheida.
