Bahman Motamedian ( بهمن معتمدیان ) was born in Tehran. He is an Iranian filmmaker, photographer, writer and scriptwriter. Motamedian belongs to the so called "new wave" of Iranian cinema. Bahman Motamedian has been involved in over twenty works, including shorts film, documentary film, video art and theatre. He made his first feature film, titled \"Khastegi\" in 2008. The film was shown in the official selection of the 65 Venice International Film Festival.
