Burnt City is about that Soudabeh Moradian's short documentary is an experimental collage of different footage interspersed with fascinating facts about a Bronze Age ruins called Burnt City. Wonderful shots of the archaeological site, located in the southeastern part of Iran, capture the raw beauty of the ruins. However, cutting back and forth between images of this once significant urban settlement and footage of modern day Los Angeles, the film is much more than a simple image of Burnt City.
