This veteran Iranian actor was born in the northern Iranian city of Rasht. He studied Theatre in university and made his film debut in 1982 with the movie “Citizen”. Following his debut, he was immediately cast in two other popular and widely-viewed Iranian period dramas “Mirza Kuchak Khan” and “Sultan and the Shepherded“.
