Doomsday Machine is about that Soudabeh Moradian's documentary centers around the aftermath of war. Set in a psychiatric hospital in Iran, shortly after the end of the 8-year Iraq war, Moradian tak ...es a look at the people who have 'survived'. Original footage is accompanied by painful monologues from the veterans who have forgotten nothing, providing the viewer with a rude awakening. 'Doomsday Machine' is a direct and honest portrayal of the lingering damage of its participants and the costs that recovering societies inevitably pay. In war there are no winners.
