Ali Sartipi ( علی سرتیپی ) was born in Tehran. He is an Iranian producer and CEO of the distribution company FilmIran. Sartipi won a Special Prize for Half of Mine, Half of Yours at the 21st International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Hamadan in 2007. He has most recently produced Fajr nominated The Wooden Bridge (2012)l, and is responsible for the distribution of Asghar Farhadi's The Past (2013).

Tootiya is about that Iraj Ghaderi's domestic drama challenges the roles of men and women in society. Shaghayegh is the executive manager of the 'Independent Women's Cooperative', an organization that is currently trying to fund the construction of a medical complex for local children. The project is in desperate need of money, and so Shaghayegh asks her husband Siavash to look after the house while she works round the clock to raise the necessary funds. When Siavash takes exception to this, resentful of his independent, hard-working wife, the clash of outdated ideals threatens to destroy the very relationship for which they are working so hard to build a future.
