Bloody Rice is about that The story is about a rice stem borer worm, which is brought to rice fields by Americans to destroy Iran's agriculture. Farmers, especially in the north of Iran, try to find a way to fight the insect but SAVAK agents are after the ones who will reveal the solution and kill them. Mr. Naderi gets informed of the matter by his friend, Hamid, but the latter is killed by SAVAK. Naderi decides to keep going on his way. SAVAK soon finds out that he has succeeded in communicating with the villagers and encourages them to rise against Shah and his agricultural policies.
