The Star is about that The musical animation 'The Star' tells the story of a woman wearing a magical hair clip in the shape of a star, which seems to make a difference only to her character as opposed to the rest of the people in the city. Setareh, observing how lifeless the city and its people are, loses her star and turns into one of the ordinary people. However, Setareh is saved by a little boy who still has some spirit left in him. The Neighbours is about that A couple decide to invite a group of neighbours in their apartment building over for lunch, along with their children. What starts out as a pleasant afternoon, soon turns vicious when an argument between the neighbours erupts as a result of a disagreement. The film slowly builds up tension, as their discussion escalates and it results in one final aggressive confrontation. Mr Library is about that Davoud Ashrafi's 'Mr Library' documents the foundation of the Malek National Library and Museum Institution. Centered in Tehran, the library has one of the biggest collections of precious manuscripts in Iran, and the film is a fascinating insight into the great history behind its establishment. Accompanied by clips of different sections of the library and the museum, Ashrafi also provides an informative glimpse into the insititution's broader collection of books and artefacts. Toghrol Tower is about that A cantankerous old man is determined to find the Toghrol tower, but no-one he asks seems to be aware of its existence. He enters a cab, and asks the driver to take him there, however the driver also seems clueless as to its whereabouts. The driver leads him to buildings that clearly do not resemble the historical monument, infuriating the old man. However, the driver also becomes set on finding the tower and the next day they set out again, but will they ever be able to find this fabled destination? This humorous drama plays out in a light-hearted fashion and the last scene is uplifting and rewarding for the characters and audience alike.
