Mr. Shadi's Mission is about that Mahmoud, a computer engineer and chemically poisoned veteran, is diagnosed with cancer, and although he loves his wife Naghmeh dearly, he wants a divorce because of his disease. In court he meets Shiva, who thanks him once again for helping her the night when she was in trouble with two bikers who were trying to mug her. Shiva was conducting a research on esoteric love and she was in court in search of subjects for her research. After she finds out that Naghmeh is a professor of literature at the university, her bond with them becomes closer.
