Telephone is about that On her wedding ...night with her favorite man, Amir, who is a pilot, Farzaneh is upset that her only brother, Massoud, did not attend their wedding. Massoud, who wanted to be his best friend Mohsen, Farzaneh's husband, slanders his sister and tries to disturb the caravan of the bride and groom's cars with his car and some of his friends in order to disrupt the wedding party. Suddenly, their car catches fire as a result of an accident, and apparently all the occupants of the car are killed. Five years later, the life of Farzaneh and Amir, who now have a daughter named Negin, is disrupted due to suspicious phone calls to Farzaneh. One day, Amir hears the voice of a foreign man through the answering machine of the telephone, who complains that Farzaneh did not come to his appointment. A little later, he sees a photo of his wife and Mohsen together. Farzaneh, who has suffered from mental disorders as a result of repeated phone calls, considers herself innocent. Amir's brother, who is a policeman, gets involved. The stranger informs by phone that Farzaneh's brother did not die in the accident five years ago and is now alive, and demands a large sum of money to deliver him. When Farzaneh wants to pay the set amount, she is confronted with the body of her brother who was killed. It is later revealed that this ransom was owed by Mohsen. One night, in the absence of Amir, Mohsen enters their house and imprisons Farzaneh in the basement. Amir's brother, who is watching the house, enters the house, but Mohsen shoots him.
